Do you find food label reading confusing? The Federal Health minister released on Monday some proposed changes to the nutrition labels that you see on all the packaged food products. Some of proposed changes are: bigger and bolder font sizes, the inclusion of added sugar quantity to the listing and adjusting serving sizes to realistically match what people are eating. Hopefully this will make all Canadians more comfortable with educating themselves on what they are consuming! Want to read more? Here is the link to the official report.
